While we've published a "Publisher's Book" for the M.O.P.S. project in the last months since I've written a blog, we really need to return to The Think Tank's little monster's and give them an attitude overhaul. So... I live in a miserable little community that my wife, kids and I are desperately trying to get away from. It's a small town in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. We hate it here. I cannot find ANY work as an artist and designer. Most would look at that last sentence and say, "Well, just get any other job until you can find what you're looking for."
Right. great advice, and I'd follow it, too. Yet there's an unforeseen problem with that. Number one, Michigan has the current lowest employment rate in the country. The Upper Peninsula isn't even really acknowledged by the lower portion of the state, so there really isn't any work here at all. If y

I've actually been on deviant art since about 2001. I would just lurk and trade brush and texture resources. The thing is, while Patrick and I were working on the re-design of the ICON site, we didn't want to include unnecessary pages. Like: My Portfolio.
Especially when there are perfectly good alternate sites out there [like this one] for me to shop my skills and not have all of my family members coming in to say how wonderful I am.
